My Thoughts: The Beginning Stage

Here I would like to clarify that I wont be giving any recaps but rather my thoughts on the drama.
"The beginning stage" as stated in the title of the post means that I have just started to watch the drama (maybe 1 or 2 Episodes). So my thoughts/review are gonna be outright cold and honest. And maybe determine whether I'll continue to watch the drama or not.

I have to be honest here, I am not particularly a fan of Chinese Historical drama. Maybe the reason for it is that I cant speak or understand Chinese as much I can understand Korean. I guess I'm more into Modern Chinese dramas cause I definitely like a few.
But my reason to watch this drama is because I absolutely loved Queen In-Hyun's Man. So I thought why not give the Chinese version of the drama a try.
(I really like this cover picture of the drama)

The drama is similar to the korean version in terms of the feel of the drama. However if you have seen the korean version you start noticing the differences after few minutes into the very first episode. But I wouldn't want to see drama which which is an exact replica of the previous version. So when i say differences I mean in it a good way as well. I have to say some differences are subtle. Like the Talisman is not piece of cloth but a medallion.
But there are some which are kinda different. I found it significantly different that the girl who helps the main guy lead is kinda like a fighter, whereas in the korean version she was a gisaeng (similar to geisha). In this version she fights with the assassins to protect the empress, which is kinda new and I kinda like it.
Then there is the part where the assassins try to kill the main lead guy and he "sits down!!" and then he disappears because of the talisman. I mean who sits when you are getting killed by assassins.
The rest of the things are pretty similar to the korean version with obvious changes with change in the culture.

(When they meet for the first time)
(And Teleportation Lesson #1-Random teleportation can be very dangerous. You can up end up on the middle of the road)

Now lets talk about the flow. As I said earlier, the feel of the drama is quite similar to the korean version. However I cant say the same thing about the flow of the drama. The shifts of the shoots from historic to modern times is a bit rough on the eyes sometimes. ( I hope it gets better in the later episodes) I just wished it was more smooth.

Now lets go to the acting department. I am new to all the actors in this drama except for Evonne Lin whom I've seen in Tiny Times ( and I absolutely loved her). Its also Nana's (Kpop Girlgroup AfterSchool member) first Chinese production. So I cant really judge whether they are acting better or not so better. So I guess I have to wait and see further into the drama. Yayyy More things to look forward to. Wohoo!

My Final Words:
I'll continue to watch this drama, not only because its the version of a drama that I like, but cause I would love to see what new difference is gonna be in this one. I have to say this, but I guess I wont stop comparing the two dramas all the time. But for me thats the fun in watching this version. Looking forward to watching and enjoying it. ^^

ELLO HELLO - Introduction Post

Ello Hello JJang people.

Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. Well for this amazingly awesome virtual world I have decided to call myself "BlueMoonButterfly" . I know its long and just to long to say. But dont worry you'll get a hang of it soon.

For those of you who are new to Korean or K-culture ( and somehow landed on my blog)
짱/Jjang means Awesome. So its 짱Korean meaning Awesome Korean

Dont be mistaken for this blog being a Korean Language blog and I am in no way suggesting that my Korean is Awesome.
This Blog is gonna be about Anything and Everything that interests me about Korea, Korean Culture (or how I like to call it K-Culture), Kpop, K-Dramas, and some Chinese as well Japanese Drama and may more things.

Mostly I'm gonna give my thoughts on the song I liked ( or dint like), Dramas I liked ( Note: I'm a big fan of Romantic and Romantic Comedy, so my drama choices might not me that diverse; but I'm always up for suggestions) and  Hot Kpop News. I wont be giving you news but rather my opinion my that news/story.

And if you have a question in your mind that these kind of blogs exist everywhere. Well, my Jjang friends you have the right question in mind.
And the answer is that Yes, blogs like this definitely exist, but this blog is like a platform for me to express my thoughts about various things. So yes it might be a typical K-Blog but I'm gonna write it anyway.

I guess that should do if a post has "Introduction Post" in its title.
Hope you guys like my blog!

Bye~~~~~ ^^
